Microinverter

With this type of PV inverter, each PV module has its own inverter, which is connected directly to the respective PV module. Is preferably used for smaller dimensions or for systems with different orientations of the PV modules.

String inverter

Here, several PV modules are connected in series and form a strand (also called a string). A string inverter connects a whole series of interconnected photovoltaic modules to the public power grid. String inverters are suitable for both small households and large agricultural photovoltaic systems as they offer a good price-performance ratio.

Battery inverter

Battery inverters make it possible to combine a PV system with storage. This regulates intelligent charging and discharging of the battery.

Hybrid inverter

Hybrid inverters are a combination of photovoltaic and battery inverters, combining two devices into one, saving space and costs.
